Climbing Over 7000m in the Pamir and Tian Shan Mountains

Aysel Gezik will give a talk on her expedition to climb in Pamir and Tien Shan mountain ranges in Central Asia. With a group of four she attempted to climb Peak Lenin (23406ft / 7134m) and later a solo attempt to climb Khan Tengri (22998ft / 7010m). During her stay in these mountains, the lessons learned and experience was intense. In US., very little is known about this part of the world.
The talk will be followed by a reception with free refreshments.
